I type this with,
a reeling mind.
My thoughts try,
to deceive me.
Merriam-Webster defines,
hypocrisy with the meaning,
above.
So why is it so hard,
to avoid?
You can’t scream cultural,
appropriation,
because they’re all mixed.
You can’t expect money,
and material possessions,
if you don’t help in return.
You can’t tell others,
how to live their lives,
when you live yours,
in sin.
I’m not entirely religious,
but I’ve studied enough
to realize that,
the Seven Deadly Sins,
are things you should not,
gorge yourself in.
Lust.
Gluttony.
Anger.
Pride.
Covetousness.
Envy.
Sloth.
I’m guilty,
of most of these.
But at least,
I can own up to it.
Unlike others.
